Soof Nikritin (Portugal/Israel)

Musician, born in 1993, lives and creates in the artist village of Ein Hod. Nikritin is a composer and double-bass player, he studied at the Jerusalem Higher Academy of Music and Dance in both the Classical Middle East music Department and the Classical European music Department. In 2021 Nikritin graduated his MA in media composition at the University of Chichester, England. Nikritin is a member of several musical ensembles, including: ‘Hayelala’, 'Yanokies Taverna' and ‘TheAngelcy’.

In recent years, Nikritin began creating original music under his own name for multidisciplinary collaborations and artists.

natalie afriat

Natalie Afriat | (Portugal/Israel)

Choreographer, dancer and dance teacher, born in 1988, lives and creates in the artists village Ein-Hod, Israel. Afriat is a MA graduate from the Department of Cultural Studies at the University of Haifa (2023) and holds a B.Dance from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance with honors (2015). She has presented and created dance works at festivals: Machol Shalem International Dance Week, Jerusalem Biennial, Chamber Dance Festival and more.

In the last two years Natalie has developed her practice into different mediums including Videodance, Photography and installations.

In March-April 2023, Soof & Natalie were invited to a residency program in Düsseldorf, Germany, where they created a multidisciplinary exhibition called 'Passage' that was presented at the Am Eck studio in Düsseldorf. In November-December 2023, they returned to Germany to continue their artistic work. In May 2024, they were invited to a residency and performances at the Aré Festival in Yerevan, Armenia. There, they created an original work for the festival that marked the 100th anniversary of the birth of Franz Kafka. In July 2025, Soof & Natalie were invited to the Xenia Creative Retreat residency in England.

 

In January 2026, a group exhibition titled ‘Braided Spirit’ opened at the Ein Hod Gallery of Contemporary Art. The exhibition features the body of work ‘Reincarnation’.
